Littl' update.

March 20 - So I didn't get in and was a little distraught, but wasn't so much so because I've been swamped with classes. I couldn't finish chapter 10 in time so i wont put it out. All in all, sorry for not keeping my words. My tentative outlook on this is self-study through all the way till summer, and with more Korean vocabs and grammar in mind, I can release during the summer without a Korean proofreader(prolly still really warrant one tho). Again, sorry for not keeping my deadline.


I wont have class until the early half of Feb, so nothing there. And the class is always full, I was waitlisted the quarter before, so nothing I can do about it if I can't take the class. So what I'll do in case I'm not accepted: I will work on chapter 9 and 10 of the volume, and on the first week or so, I'll hand it to her to proofread. Hopefully she'll accept and I'll post both chapter and stop there. She'll be busy too being the first week and all, so the release might be at the end of Feb.

Fingers crossed so I can continue onto 14.

This here's a miscalculation on my part.

Just a heads up

I'll stop at the end of chapter 6, this Thursday, and will probably resume in 2 weeks or so, the Tuesday of that week. I want to review the vocabs I've learn, as well as trying to re-read each chapter without reaching for the dictionary/google translate. and skim the latest volume...but most of all, I want to get fat on turkey.

Edit2: I'll make a google doc for each chapter public so if you guys like, you can make change it to(make a note on it? I'm not sure if you can change it on the fly but I'm sure you can download, I'll check later.) But they won't be up soon since I have no time atm. Since I'll make one after I've finished the chapter, the earliest will probably after chapter 4. this weekend.

Edit: New glossary page for the romanized Korean terms. Onomonopia excluded.

Added at 'END Chapter' at the bottom when the chapter ends, so as to not confuse anybody since I do do the chapter in parts.
I want to add Previous and Next chapter, but I don't have that many chapters out, so I'll hold that off for now.
Regarding the terms(the romanized Korean), I wanted to do a glossary page but never got around to it. Maybe this Sunday if I have the time.
The other terms that is only in the novel, some of the older term I pulled from the forum because I didn't want to confuse anybody who have already read the older chapters. Newer terms, i'll try to come up with something that doesn't sound completely out of wack.
To reiterate what posted 2 months back, I'll try to post 3 times a week, starting from Tuesday and every other day after that; and hopefully at the end of those 3 times I'll have completed the chapter.

Beginning.

I will use this blog as an outlet as I progress. I find that this novel is really interesting; and it pretty much the became the initial incentive that jettison me to learn the language...then the kdrama...and the hot girls kimchi.
